Dimensional glaze

Step 1: Cut the cherry out twice at 3" (fits the 3" cupcake) from red and brown cardstock. This cut is on the cricut Home Decor cartridge.

Step 2: Cut the stem off the red cherry.

Step 3: Put the red cherry through your xyron sticker machine UPSIDE DOWN so that the adhesive is on the top.

Step 4: Cover with red glitter.

Step 5: Apply dimensional glaze around outside edges of cherry.

Step 6: Fill in the center with dimensional glaze.

Step 7: Let dry, then layer on top of brown cherry die cut.

Looks good enough to eat! (well, almost)

  1. super cute and what a great and clever idea..looks fab

  2. OMG! I need one of these machines in my life!!! I think I'll be updating my wish list and adding this to it!!!

  3. I'm so glad I found you!

  4. Very cute. How long does it take for the dimensional glaze to dry?

  5. It takes about 2 hours for a light coat to dry. I put a thick coat on the cherry and it took about 4 hours to dry. Well worth the wait! Sometimes I make a few ahead, let them dry overnight and then they are ready when I want to use them on a card.

  6. I so LOVE this idea and I get my Xyron tomorrow! So making some of these to go with Robyn's stamps!

    Thank you so much!

  7. I have only recently been experiencing with dimensional glaze. I also tried the one by Mod Pod. They both do remarkable things to my cuts.
