Vinyl tutorial

Good morning!  Today over at the Hallmark Ladybugs blog I have a super easy project!  It is a  tile with cricut vinyl on it and a video tutorial  showing how to cut vinyl with the cricut, how to weed the vinyl, and how to transfer it to your tile.

Be sure to leave a comment on my giveaway post and on each post over at the Ladybug blog for the most chances to win!

Hi Everyone!  I am so excited to be the guest designer over at Hallmark Scrapbook this week!  So, I thought I would do a giveaway!!

I wanted to do something a little different, so I am giving away a little something from each of the 3 projects I will be posting over on the Hallmark Ladybugs Blog this week.  I will be giving away the embellishments from the "Garden of Weedin" scrapbook page and 3 pre-cut vinyl pieces ready to go on your 8x9, 6x6 and 4x4 tiles. I will also be giving away 4 of my handmade flowers!

How can you win?

Distressed Flowers

These are the flowers I came up with.  I am still learning, but I am really happy with how they turned out!

Here is the video showing how I made these flowers:

Happy Spring!

My daffodils and tulips are blooming and it is starting to look like Spring!  Yeah!

I have had lots of fun making robots with my gypsy, but I think I am ready to make something pretty, pink and flowery!  LOL.   Soooo, I am going to try making some of the beautiful paper flowers that I have seen. Hopefully I will have pictures and a video up later today with the results!  :-)

New Robot cut file with the Gypsy

I am a guest designer over at She's a Sassy Lady today!  Be sure to check out her blog.  She will be having guest designers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  I get to do the 2nd Friday of each month!  :-)

Here is my project:

I designed this robot on my Gypsy using mostly the George cartridge.  The antenae is the 'S' from Opposites Attract and the smile is from Home Accents.  The red 1/2 circle shoes are from the Gypsy Wanderings cart already on the Gypsy.

Here is a video showing how to assemble the Robot and the card.  It also has some tips and tricks for working on the Gypsy:

Cricut Robotz robot designed on my gypsy

*The pdf file of Robotz sentiments is now available for download under the 'cut files' tab at the top of my blog.  Enjoy!

Hey everyone,

I am so excited for all of the new release cartridges to come out! Since I don't have the Cricut Robotz cartridge yet, I decided to use my gypsy to create a robot that is almost exactly like one on the cartridge! (Can you tell the difference?)  I would share the cut file, but am not sure how Provo Craft would feel about that.  :-)

But, I do have a pdf file of sentiments to go with the Robotz cartridge to share!  I used two of the sentiments on my cards.  'I'm nuts and bolts about you' and 'Have a gear-ific birthday!'. To download this file just go to the 'cut files' tab at the top of my blog.   :-)
