Crinkle Ribbon: Bow Tying tutorial!

I love tying bows with Crinkle Ribbon!! It makes it a little easier to get 'WOW' results than with other types of ribbons.  I have to confess that I am not perfect at tying bows, but this video shows how I tie a few different types of bows to give my projects a little shabby vintage charm.  Scroll down for pictures too!

I will be adding new colors of Hand Dyed Ribbon to my blog soon!

Have a great day!

  1. Hi Kim,

I got my order of crinkle ribbon earlier this week and am excited to put it to use. Thanks for the tutorial on how you make your bows.

  3. Saundra - I would love to see how you use your crinkle ribbon!!

  4. Your ornaments cards are beautiful! I can't wait to be able to wee your video too!

  5. Hi Kim,
I just posted a card using the crinkle ribbon on my blog. You can view it here:

  6. Oh, Kimberly! Your ribbon is exquisite!!! :)
I so wish I didn't already have over 1,000 yards of ribbon (that's a conservative estimate-no exaggeration!), because I would never ever use anything but crinkle ribbon after seeing yours! I love it!!! And I love your cards & really inspire me! Makes me want to go & hang out in my craft room...

Thank you so much for sharing (I liked your video),

  7. Kimberly,

I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to hold out!!! ;) Your ribbon is delicious and your color and package titles are too clever!

Your price on the ribbon is great, too (about $1.11/yard)!

If you haven't already, check out Kimberly's store!

  8. So glad you like the ribbon! I will be adding some more colors, hopefully today!!

  9. What cartridge did you use to cut the round ornament? I have been looking all night for a round ornament with a layer for the top klike in your video. Love the ribbon, I may just have tp break down and get some! Thanks

  10. Lezley - I can't remember if I just cut a circle or if I used an ornament from the Christmas cartridge, but I do know that I hand cut the top (Gray) part. I used my decorative edge scissors and cut a strip of cartstock, then I cut out a small section with my scissors. The striped texture of the cardstock helped me keep the lines straight! :) Hope that helps.

  11. Great ornaments! I love the snowman! I also ordered some ribbon! Yay!! Looks delicious!

  12. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I have been searching for a great tutorial on how to make messy bows. :) I have a glorious teal and gold yellow ribbon that I now have to use!

Your comments make my day. Thanks so much!
