Build a Valentine - Puppy Love

I have 2 posts today!  Scroll down or click HERE for this weeks Monday Challenge.

When I designed the Build a Valentine stamp set, I wanted something fun to use with and for kids!  I kept this project simple so it could be mass produced.  Wouldn't it be fun to make a variety of these valentines with your kids to send to school with them?!?!  How fun for them to give their friends something they helped to make!

This fun little matchbook Valentine holds a treat!  The cute puppy was cut at 2.43 inches from the Create a Critter cartridge.  This cartridge works great with my Build a Valentine stamp set!

You can see the bag of M&Ms  hiding in the matchbook.  To make the matchbook, I scored a 9 1/4 inch by 3 1/8 inch piece of red cardstock along the long edge at 3 3/4", 4", and 8 1/4" marks.
Fold and staple the bag of candy in (see picture above).

It folds together like a matchbook and I used the sentiment to hide the staple!

I chalked the cheeks and used glossy accents.  The cute face stamp is from Peachy Keen.

Imagine the possibilities!

Remember to leave a comment on this post (and every post this week) for a chance to win the mega valentine pack!
