So, Kiss me!

Hi there!  I hope you have lots of fun plans for the weekend, maybe even a little crafting time!

Today I have a vintage style romantic card with lots of pinks and creams and of course some glitter!  When I was designing the Always & Forever stamp set I wanted something fun and romantic that could be used for Valentines and Anniversaries or just to tell that special someone 'I love you!'

The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye Lost and Found.  I used my new Always and Forever stamp set for the sentiments.

 The beautiful  heart shape was cut at 3 inches from the Lyrical letters cartridge. (Really!)  I didn't even know it was on there until I did a search for 'heart' on my Gypsy.  The curly edged frame was cut at 4 inches from the Elegant Edges cartridge.  

Helpful Hint:  When cutting intricate shapes from thick cardstock (I used PaperTrey Ink), set your machine to cut 2 times and reduce the speed to 3.  I like to set the pressure at 5 and the blade depth at 6.  It also helps to have a new blade.  This helps reduce tearing and gives you a clean cut.

I inked the edges with brown.  For the glittered pieces I brushed a light coat of glossy accents (with a piece of sponge) and lightly glittered.

 I tied a bow with Vanilla Bean crinkle ribbon and added a button and a crocheted flower.  Click HERE for a video and pattern for the crocheted flower.
