Believe it or not, I have gone all of this time without owning the fabulous "Kate's ABCs" cartridge! I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner! I was in the mood to use soft, muted colors today. Maybe I am just wishing for Spring, sigh . . .

The blue background and brown paper are from Crate Paper and all other papers are from My Minds Eye.
I lightly inked all of the edges with Walnut ink. Then sponged glossy accents on the dress and flower, then sprinkled with a bit of Stampendous ultrafine glitter.
I pulled my sewing machine out to zig-zag stitch around the edges. I should remember to do this more often! The twine is from American Crafts.
The sweet little girl/scene and layers were cut at 3 inches.
The stamped sentiment is from my new Build a Valentine stamp set, which can be used for so much more than just Valentines! :)

I absolutely love this card!! The colours are gorgeous and the cut is just lovely! I just made a card using this same stamp - but it's a very different look! You'll see soon!
Especially like the glitter on the dress & the stitching. This would look very nice displayed on a wall.
