Sneak Peek Day #2 - Spooky Treats

Welcome to Day #2 of our stamp release party!  I am so excited to show you today's projects!  Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of five new stamp sets.  I have the most awesome Design Team, so you are in for a real treat!

I had so much fun designing this stamp set!  I love the fonts on this set - perfect for Halloween.  :)

Today's stamp set is Spooky Treats
(All of the new stamps and metal dies will be available to order on Saturday!!)

Here is my project:

I cut two cauldrons at 6.35 inches from the Happy Hauntings cartridge.  Then I hand trimmed the flame off of both cuts.

I scored a line 1/2 inch from the top on one of the cauldrons and adhered the two together above the score line to form a top folding shape card.

I cut this cute pumpkin at 2.18 inches and the hat at 2.29 inches from the Happy Hauntings cartridge (using my Gypsy to hide the face) and then stamped a face (Peachy Keen), inked the edges, and added glossy accents to the eyes.

The boots were also cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge (1.92 inches).  I used my Gypsy to flip one of the boots sideways so they would be opposite.  I made a ruffle using Deep Purple Crinkle Ribbon and then added glossy accents to the boots.  The purple striped legs were cut from the George cartridge at 0.45"w by 1.44" h.  (These could easily be hand cut)

I added glossy accents to the green bubbling goo too!  I can never get enough glossy accents.  :)

All of today's projects use the Spooky Treats stamp set.

Now it's time to sit back and enjoy these fun projects made by my fabulous Design Team!!

Gwen's treat containers are gorgeous!!  I love all of the flowers, bows, borders and fun details!

I love the papers colors Gwen chose!

I love how Gwen combined the Smokey Black Crinkle Ribbon with the tulle and her cute tag!  Her embossing is awesome!

GiGi

I love GiGi's fun treat pockets!  The spider web border is so cute and I love all of the cuts she used!

I definitely make more treats to give away for Halloween than I do cards.  So, I thought it would be fun to have a stamp set that could be used for treats or even to label food at a Halloween party. I love how GiGi labeled her drink mixes!  Fun idea!

Robin

Robin has added so many fun details to her beautiful frame!

This is one of my favorite stamps in the set and it is so pretty the way Robin used the embossing powder!  The glossy bats and glitter are gorgeous!

Fantastic decoration for Halloween!

That glittery moon looks awesome on top of the Deep Purple Crinkle Ribbon!

Amber

Amber's invitations are super cute!  I love the ghost coming out of the pocket - too fun!

The face on her ghost is so awesome!  The "Time" and "place" sentiments are from the Candy Corn Kisses stamp set.

I love Amber's doodling around her stamped sentiment and ghost!

Kate

Kate's card is spooky cute!  That witch is such a great cut and I love all of the fun papers!

I LOVE the "smoke" and the tattered Crinkle Ribbon (Deep Purple) - nice touch!

Marlene's card and treats are sooo cute!  I love this color combo!

Such a cute tag!  Love the Halloween Baker's twine with the black crinkle ribbon.  :)

I love the orange flower spider!  Wow!

Ally made this cute card for grandparents!  Her little pumpkin is adorable.  :)

I love the stitching and all of the fun details Ally added on her card!
