Baby favor box - from the brand new Tags Bags Boxes 2!!

I have loved my original Tags Bags and Boxes cartridge, so as soon as I saw that Provo Craft had made a TBBM2, I knew I had to have it!  This cartridge is even better than the first! I bought the scoring tool that goes with it.  Did I mention that it scores the lines for you?!?!!!! How cool is that!

I found that the cut sizes listed in the handbook are just right, so this cute little baby onsie box (p. 45) was cut at 9 inches.

Here is a side view:

The top opens so you can fill it with something good!

I cut out the bib at 4 inches. This is actually the tag that is on this same page.  Then I added a ruffle of Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon along the top.  I wanted a 'finished' edge so I folded over a piece of crinkle ribbon that was covered in adhesive (atg gun).  The sweet little button and twine add the finishing touch.

The stamped sentiment is from the Sweet Sentiments #2 stamp set.

Wouldn't this make a cute favor for a baby shower?!

New Bakers Twine from Divine Twine!

I have added 8 yummy new colors of bakers twine from Divine Twine to My Craft Spot!

Divine 4th of July and Spring colors

$14.99

Divine 4th of July & Spring Pack - 8 bundles of 10 yards each
(Airmail, Blueberry Divine, Cherry Divine, Purple Plum, Lemon Divine, Cotton Candy Divine, Green Apple, Orange Divine)

(Free shipping in US and Canada, $5 everywhere else)

Airmail is a fabulous red, white, and blue twist that perfectly matches the Cherry Divine and Blueberry Divine!

Divine Twine is a little thinner than Twinery twine, more like traditional twine, but the colors are fabulous!  These pastel colors are a little more subdued - perfect for Spring!  Because it is a bit thinner, this is very easy twine to work with!

Missing you - bird from Nate's ABCs

Hello my crafty friends!  I ordered both cartridges together and  I think I like the Nate's ABCs cartridge just as much as the Kate's ABCs cartridge.  The images on both cartridges are so well done!

The black background with the scalloped bottom was cut at 5 inches from the Elegant edges cartridge. The scalloped oval was cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge at 3.86" wide and 4.71 inches height and then rotated 90 degrees.  I cut an oval from the George cartridge at 3.26" wide by 3.98 inches high to go behind the blue scalloped frame.

This sweet bird, branch, nest and all there layers were cut from the Nate's ABCs cartridge at 2.33 inches

The stamped sentiment is from the Sweet Sentiments #2 stamp set.

I zig-zag stitched all along the inside edges of the scalloped frame and then added a straight stitch along the card base.  Stitching adds so much to a card!

The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye and the cream is from PaperTrey ink.

Here is the card again:

Have a wonderful day!
