DT post by GiGi - Merry Kiss-mas gift bags

** There are two posts today.  Scroll down for the Monday Challenge Winners!**

Hello everyone! GiGi here from The Cricut Bug to share a project with you today. I used the NEW Mistletoe stamp set from My Craft Spot for these cute bags. I just love the fun sentiments in this stamp set!

I also used some Caribbean and Hot Pink Crinkle Ribbon to tie the bags shut.

These bags are so much fun to make and very simple too! You can find a great tutorial HERE on how to make them. They are perfect for little stocking stuffers! I plan on putting some mini hand sanitizers and fluffy socks in each bag.
I stamped and colored/paper pieced the elves and added some stickles to the girls hat. I mounted the girl on an action wobble and the boy I pop dotted....he was to small in the middle to put on an action wobble. I added some trim to the bottom of the bags by cutting around the designs from decorative paper. The tags were hand cut and I stamped the fun sentiments from My Craft Spot's  Mistletoe stamp set. To finish I attached the tags with some Caribbean and Hot Pink Crinkle Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today and if you'd like to see more info and pics of these bags, please come visit me at The Cricut Bug. Have a great day!

This week's challenge:  Showing Gratitude
(Thank you cards/gifts)

Enjoy some inspiration from my fantastic design team!

Robin

Robin's snail is soooo cute!  I love her penwork around the letter!

Robin used the Tiny Tags metal dies to cut her tag and the Tiny Tags and Thank you stamp sets for her sentiments.  She also used Caribbean bakers twine to attach the tag to her card.

Inside Robin's cute card:

GiGi

I love the soft pinks and greens on GiGi's gorgeous card!  Her background frame is so pretty!

GiGi used the Thank You stamp set for her sentiment and tied a pretty bow with Petal Pink crinkle ribbon and Honeydew bakers twine.

Heather

Heather's snowman is soooo cute!  Love the face!

Heather cut her tag from the Tiny Doilies metal die set and her stamped sentiments are from the Thank You and Think Snow stamp sets.  She also attached her tag with Brown jute string.

I'm also thankful for having a job and a roof over my head; when so many are not as fortunate and last but not least I'm thankful that I'm a crafty person as I've met lots of great people and it keeps my sanity in times of stress.
Now for my favorite stamps sets. Really? Just Two? I love "Sweet Sentiments" and "'Tis the Season". Thank you for the chance to participate.

DT post by GiGi - Winter is for the birds

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug to share a card. I used the sentiment from the  Think Snow stamp set on this card.

I also used the NEW Lacy Banners Metal Dies to create the trees!

I cut the bird from 3 Birds On Parade and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. The tree's I created by using the Lacy Banners Metal Dies....HOW cool is that!? They make the perfect tree's! I did 2 in green and 2 in white. The white one's I trimmed the tops off and added to the green ones to create the snow. I also added some stickles to the snow and cut simple strips of brown paper for the tree trunks.

To finish I stamped that fun sentiment from the Think Snow stamp set.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't forget the challenge that's going on here at My Craft Spot! The challenge is "Thanksgiving" and you have through Monday to join in the fun!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in.

DT post by Gwen - Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone, it's Gwen again with a special post, well at least it is for me.  Today is my baby girls birthday, I can't believe the baby is 17!!  Where did the time go and how did she get so grown up?  This is the card and gift bag I made for her.  They are cut files from Svgcuts.  The twine on the card and the bag is Posy.  The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set.  The brown squares on the front of the bag were embossed with the cuttlebug.   I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Monday Challenge #76 - Thanksgiving

Hello, my crafty friends!  I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving.  It is one of my favorite holidays.  I love spending that time with my family!  :)

This weeks challenge is all about Thanksgiving -  cards, place cards, table decor, anything that has to do with Thanksgiving.

This week's challenge:  Thanksgiving

Now for some inspiration from my awesome design team!:

GiGi

GiGi's pilgrim bears are adorable!  I love that they are holding hands - too cute!

This tag is sooo pretty!  GiGi used the Tiny Doily Metal dies and the Stampin' Around Fall stamp set for the text.   The sweet bow is Orange Divine Twine.

Kate

I love Kate's basket of fall leaves!  The wood look is awesome and the brads add so much!

Kate stamped give thanks from the Happy Fall stamp set in 3 beautiful colors.  So pretty!

Gwen

Gwen's owl is so cute!  I love the ruffled feathers on his tummy and the cute eyes!

Gwen cut her tag with the Tiny Doily Metal dies and stamped the leaf and sentiment using the Stampin' Around Fall stamp set.  She tied it on with Brown Jute String.  Super cute treat box!

DT post by Gwen - Let's Talk Turkey!

Hi Gwen here with a fun treat holder or table decoration for Thanksgiving.  This fun little box is an svgcuts file, have I mentioned how much I love their files?!   The cute sentiment is from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.   I thought it fit perfectly with this funny little turkey.   The tag was hand cut and I used Natural Jute string.   The paper is DCWV Autumn Melody stack and American Crafts for the card stock, I love this card stock!   I inked all the edges   and glued down the feathers, the turkey body is on 1 layer of foam tape, the head on 2 layers and the feet on 1 layer.  I hope you have a wonderful week and especially Thanksgiving!!
