DT Post by Sherrie - Reindeer Crossing

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year's Eve!
This is Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion with a Christmas card to share with you today~  I know Christmas is over but I made this one a few weeks ago and forgot to share it.

I used My Craft Spot's Christmas Banner stamp set :)

Christmas Banner Sentiments

My card base is a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels Twenty Eight and the base layer a 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels Four. The papers are from Echo Parks-Fall collection and Lasting Impressions which were in my scrap stash :) I really need to work at thinning that down, lol!
The deer is cut at 4" plus the layers from the Jolly Holidays cartridge.

I tied a twine bow with My Craft Spot's Vintage Cherry Twine and added a fun little bell. I used the Ribbon Banners~Straight metal dies for the banner and stamped the sentiment with the Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set.

I finished by tying on a pretty bow using Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon.

If you would like more information or details about this card, please visit my blog at

Have a wonderful evening celebrating and ringing in the New Year!!

Happy New Year!

DT Post by Gwen - Pretty Purse!

Hi everyone, this is Gwen from This and That by Gwen with a super quick and easy little purse to share with you today.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!  I can't believe it is over already!  So I am now thinking birthdays, since I have several coming up very soon!  I made this for my daughter Ashley, her birthday is in a few days.

You know how much I love little gift bags and boxes, and this one is no exception!  It is so cute and super easy to make, it is from the Silhouette Store.  The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.  I tied it all on with crinkle ribbon and some twine.  The paper is from My Minds Eye, love it!  These would be great to make as party favors, since they are so quick and easy and you can get 2 out of a sheet of 12x12 paper.

Have a great day!

Great deal on Silhouette Cameo and a fun project!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

I finally bought a Silhouette Cameo and I love it!!  Hallmark Scrapbook had the best deal around and fantastic customer service.  Free Ground shipping too!  They also have great deals on Cricut cartridges.  :)

I have been cutting vinyl for my walls and I also have a fun project to show you today.  I know Christmas is over, but I thought I would still share this awesome gift bag. (ok . . . so I got busy and didn't get around to taking a picture until Christmas eve . . . lol)  This cut file is part of the Happy Holidays kit from SVG cuts.  It is one of my favorite cuts and I will be using this a lot next Christmas!  It might even make a cute pair of overalls!

My Stamped sentiment is from the Joy Filled Christmas stamp set.

I opened my email today and found this fantastic deal on the Silhouette Cameo (only $219.00!! still on sale for the next 2 days)  at Hallmark Scrapbook.  Thought I would pass it along . . . if any of you are interested ;)

Happy crafting!

New Design Team Member - Tanya Adams from Nonna's Craft Corner

GiGi needed to take a break and step down as a My Craft Spot Design Team member.  We will miss her so much and wish her the best!

I am so excited to introduce Tanya Adams from Nonna's Craft Corner as our newest design team member! Tanya is so talented and will be a great addition to the team!  Most of you already know her and love her style.  :)

Hello everyone! My name is Tanya Adams and I am so happy to be the newest Design Team Member of My Craft Spot!  I live in Alabama with my sweet hubby (and biggest fan) of 33 years.  We have two grown sons and four absolutely beautiful grandchildren.  I have enjoyed some form of crafting for as long as I can remember.  I started paper crafting when my boys were in high school and I cringe as I look back on some of those first scrapbook layouts!  My love of paper, stamps and ink has grown considerably since those days and I like to think my skills have improved a bit also.  I've moved beyond my little crafting table in the corner of the bedroom to my very own "Craft Corner" and I love spending my free time playing with paper while my sweet little Yorkie, Lola keeps me company.  I'm excited to start this new adventure with Kimberly and her wonderful Design Team and I look forward to sharing my creations with you all!

Nonna's Craft Corner

You might remember this gorgeous project Tanya made for her Guest Designer spot.  She used the Feel Better Soon stamp set.

Check out these cute hot chocolate treat bags Tanya made!  Wow!  She used the Stamping All Around Christmas stamp set and the Tiny Doilies metal dies to create her pretty circle tags.  Her sentiment tag is from the Winter Wonderland stamp set and was cut from the Ribbon Banners (Straight) metal die set.

So excited to have Tanya join us!  Happy crafting, everyone!

Good morning! Heather here again today. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I know it is the day after - but it is so easy to move on too quickly after Christmas, that I kind of like slowing down and not forgetting what I celebrated only yesterday! So bear with me as I share one more Christmas card with you!

I got my beautiful sentiment for this card from "Joy to the World" stamp set from My Craft Spot.

If you would like to read more of the details of how I put this card together - I would love it if you would visit me at my blog, Houses Built of Cards! Hope you continue to remember the true meaning of Christmas - and that you have a very Happy New Year!

DT Post by Heather - Beautiful Christmas tags!

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards with a last minute Christmas post to share!

I made so many Christmas tags this year, that I actually put them on all my gifts! My girls wanted me to make them special ones for their gifts as well, so I set out yesterday to put together something special for them using My Craft Spot's Joy Filled Christmas Stamp set and my Silhouette Cameo:

My youngest spends all of her days dancing around the house, and begging to wear my pointe shoes to play dress up - so I made a ballerina cut for her - here it is on her gift - all wrapped up and pretty:

My oldest is very much into her gymnastics moves and is constantly working on those, so I used a gymnast silhouette for her:

DT Post by Gwen - Shape Card with a fun twist!!

Merry Christmas all, this is Gwen from This and That by Gwen with a shaped card to share with you today.

I have been so busy trying to catch up from being gone and then watching my 3 little grandsons for a week I haven't made very many Christmas things :(

This cut file is from the Silhouette Store, I shrunk it down a ton!  It is supposed to be about 11" tall, I didn't want it that big.  I wanted it to fit in an A2 envelope so I sized it accordingly.

The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Mistletoe stamp set.  The inside of the card was stamped with the Joy Filled Christmas stamp set, all of these items are from My Craft Spot

The card opens by turning on the brad, so easy and a fun way to make it different.

Guest Designer - Georgiana from Carson's Creations!

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and I am super excited today! I have the privilege of being a Guest Designer for My Craft Spot.  Not too long ago, I was inquiring about Kimberly's stamps and metals dies, when we she asked if I would be interested in being a guest. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity. What an honor!

I have admired the Tiny Tags and Metal Dies, Tiny Doilies Metal Dies, the Stamping ALL Around line, and let's not forget the other amazing stamps. I decided I was going to purchase some and I have not been disappointed. I have been using them for the past month and I am sure glad I did! I have made numerous projects and today I would like to share one of the many.

For my project, I made holiday treats for my co-workers.

I made toppers for the wand candy bags, which are stacked with red and green M&Ms. I tied a Mistletoe green crinkle ribbon at the top of each one.

I used the Mistletoe stamp set for the Be Merry sentiment and the holly image. I used a cherry red LePlume marker to color the berries.

A small tin cup makes the perfect holder.

Kimberly wants everyone to "Be Merry" this holiday season. She is going to offer a stamp set of your choice to one lucky person for leaving a comment on my blog. Be sure to state which My Craft Spot stamp set is your favorite.

Yes, I know...you can only choose one!

Stay Creative,

DT Post bye Sherrie - Gorgeous Christmas card!

Hello Everyone!
This is Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion to share a Christmas card with you today using My Craft Spot's White Christmas stamp set~I just love this set :)

I started with a Spellbinders 5x7 Matting Basic for the base of the card. I then followed it with a Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, a Spellbinders Matting Basic and then another Enchanted Labels 28. I topped it off with a pretty Spellbinders Opulent Oval and stamped the beautiful sentiment on a Spellbinders Classic Oval.

The sentiment is from the White Christmas stamp set. I just love the font on this sentiment, don't you? I embossed it with a sizzix flower folder for a little dimension and then added some bling to give it a elegant look.

The leaves are the Spellbinders Foliage die. I finished the card with a satin double bow and fun button from Liz's Paper Loft.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
