LOL emoji bag . . .

I didn't do anything fancy on this project because I had to get it done quickly (less than 15 minutes!) and in the mail.  This cut file just makes me smile . . . so I thought I would share.  There are a bunch of different emoji bags.  This one is my favorite!

The LOL emoji box is from My Scrap Chick.

I filled it with Jellybeans . . . should make my sweet daughter smile.

Fun 3-D Witch's Boot

I enjoyed making this witch boot with my daughter! She had lots of fun ideas to add and it's always good to spend time with her.

I love the fun scrapbook papers and colors made for Halloween!  I added black ink to the edges of each piece before gluing together.  The black and cream diamond paper and the orange stripe paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The purple star paper is from Echo Park.

We didn't have any googly eyes for the spider, so my daughter used a black sharpie and some pearls from Stampin' up to make the spider's eyes. We pulled crinkle ribbon and some feathery black string from my stash.

This Witches Boot (silhouette file) was fun, but tricky to get glued together.  Here is a link to a tutorial if you are interested.  Definitely worth the time to make one, just maybe not to make a whole bunch of them to give out to all of our friends and neighbors.  ;)

Happy crafting!

I'm ready for the cool, crisp days of Fall . . .

It's been so hot here . . . so I'm inside crafting . . . neglecting my yard a bit.  We plant a big garden and lots of flowers in the Spring with good intentions to weed every day . . . by August my yard and I are both tired of the heat and the weeds start to creep in.  :)

I cut this cookie box on my silhouette. Notice how there aren't any cookies . . . but there will be!!  It looks just the right size for a stack of 6 cookies.  Yum!

I stamped my sentiment and then cut the circle for my tag with a Sizzix die so I could line it up just the way I wanted.  The pinecone is also a Silhouette file.

I inked the tag with brown ink and then with Walnut distress ink, and then finally with a light touch of black on the outside edges.  I love the look this extra inking gives the tag.  The rest of the box is inked with just the Walnut distress ink.

Have a happy day!  I guess I better head out to do battle with the weeds.  :)
